The process for brainstorming the next photo shoot for Small Magazine has begun and I've never been more excited. I met with an amazing photographer, Sara Kerens this past weekend and we discussed concepts for over an hour. This next shoot is truly going to be my best piece yet . . . stay tuned!

This weekend my boyfriend took me out to a beautiful dinner at this great little spot in Oak Cliff called Lucia . . . the food is absolutely amazing (but one should hope so if you have to wait two months for a reservation). After our dinner we went to check out this new "pop-up bar" I had been hearing rumors about and wow . . . this place was seriously cool. It features all of the top mixologists in the city and the proceeds go to the Promise House which helps runaway teens get off the streets. The drinks were amazing, the scene was super hip, and the music was perfect. BAR 828 is only around for one more weekend, so you better hurry and check it out! - photos from elliott-munoz.com

If you haven't heard of Small Magazine yet, please check it out. Kids or no kids, I promise you will fall in love with it the moment you see it. I interned and worked for Small Magazine before I took my job with Fossil and have never been able to let go. Styling is definitely one of my greatest passions and being able to continue to create for Small Magazine is a true blessing. Please check out my styling work in Issue #16 and the newest issue which was released last month - Issue #19.

The guys from Midwest Style have some serious style and inspire me daily with their menswear blog.  I'm loving the fitted blazer with perfect sleeve length, the vintage skinny tie and the natural, full grain leather belt. In my opinion . . . every guy needs a natural leather belt in their wardrobe and Tanner Goods have the best of the best. Why? Words can't describe how excited we are to see the NEW Estate Collection for Fossil men's bags launching throughout the US over the next couple of weeks. From duffles, to messengers, and even luggage - this bag group is a definite must have. The waxed canvas group is sexxxxxy!

This super cute letterpress card from Power and Light Press has me inspired today. Halloween is only two weeks away and like always I wait until the very last minute to figure out my costume. I wonder what I'll decide on . . .

Let me introduce you to my amazing pup, Dalai. I rescued her three years ago from a"high-kill" shelter in 
Tennessee, three days before her scheduled euthanization. Saving her precious life was one of the best

These are a few looks I pulled from Totokaelo to use as styling inspiration for the outifts to pack for my visit back home. I absolutely can not wait to be back in my home town to see my family and friends. It's been WAY too long Cincinnati!

This leather duffle bag from Mihara Yasuhiro is seriously cool. It's realized in an embossed leather technique called photo jacquard. The classic bag detailing has been debossed into the leather by the pieces hidden in the sub-layer underneath. Maybe I should try this idea with a belt  . . .

Wow, what a crazy weekend - I'm back at work this Monday morning and am totally exhausted. From DJ's, to boat parties, park parties, and bike rides . . . this weekend was a blast! Now on to the work week . . .
