One of my best friends, Alejandra, sent me a text today about special edition Toms for Movember. What a great idea . . . I'm loving the tiny mustache. I instantly fell in love with the pop color herringbone classics as well - especially the teal!

If you haven't heard about fossil's menswear . . . I think it's about time you checked it out. It's a shame we only have an accessory store at Northpark - if you're in Dallas check out our apparel store in Stonebriar or shop online ;-)

Marc by Marc Jacobs mens fall RTW collection is pretty awesome . . . and relatively inexpensive. Check it out online - MarcJacobs

Zen circles, which are known as ensō, are symbols of teaching, reality, enlightenment, and a myriad of things in between. They evoke power, dynamism, charm, humor, drama, and stillness. I love how something so simple can create so much feeling. I think I need to bring some enso art into my home ;-)

dallas.

The Dallas Tweed Ride was this past Sunday! We biked all over Downtown Dallas and Oak Cliff with about 200 people all dressed in clothes from the 50's! These are a few photos of my outfit and my fixie - I love riding bikes in Dallas!

Just a small dose of beautiful styling inspiration to start the week. Happy Monday ;-)

I love seeing inventive products created for the cyclist . . . the bike lock loop is genius! Vans Vault Authentic LX and Levis 511 Skinny Commuter - Available online at Levis & DQM New York.

I've posted this up on my desk as a little reminder not to freak out before a big meeting ;-) So far I haven't failed . . .

Check out Zara's latest November Lookbook - it's hot - seriously.

When that day comes when I'm ready to start my own brand, I will be looking back to these mannequins for store styling inspiration. Such a cool idea and apparently a new favorite of the Sartorialist.

Working in a giant corporate atmosphere as a designer can be somewhat stifling at times - thank goodness I'm fortunate enough to work for a cool and distinctive company! Welcome to my cube . . . a workspace that is a personal reflection of myself and how I like to work - Clean, organized, quirky, and fun ;-)

With good fortune, I stumbled across this photographer's blog today while doing trend research - Jonathan Levitt: GRASSDOE. Wow, what a beautifully unexpected break from fashion. The best part is these images make up a photo-journal of his life - nature, dogs, love and the outdoors. It's hard to not keep looking!

Rag & Bone is definitely an obsession of mine . . .

halloween.

So I succeeded with pulling my costume together at the last minute . . . and it turned out pretty awesome. Thanks to Erin, owner of the Etsy store Objet d'Art Designs, I found this amazing unicorn wig and the dress I found while diggin' around at Lula B's Vintage. I love when I get to support small businesses instead of buying something mass produced. Hope you all had a great Halloween!
